System: No Startup

The inverter does not power up. None of the lights are on.

Monitoring only works when the inverter is powered up. The monitoring device draws its power from the inverter.

The primary cause is that there is no DC voltage or the voltage is not meeting the start up voltage.

The inverter is powered entirely by DC input.

  1. Ensure that the DC Switch is in the “On” position.
  2. Check the DC open circuit voltages.
  3. If the DC voltages are measured to be within startup voltages and the DC Switch is on an inverter replacement will be necessary. Please raise a case.

Inverters that do not start up will result in a “Monitoring” issue. Our platform is not able to distinguish between an inverter that stops sending messages and one that does not power up. In both cases, the inverter simply goes quiet.
